ABOUT ME...

My name is Alejandro González Hernández, I'm currently a second-year undergraduate student of Bachelor's Degree of English Teaching and Learning in Secondary Education at the Escuela Normal No. 4 de Nezahualcoyotl.

NOW...WHAT IS AN E-PORTFOLIO?

An E-Portfolio is a digital collection created by a student of their course-related work, like essays, posters, photographs, videos, and artwork; academic E-Portfolios can also capture other aspects of a student’s life volunteer experiences, employment history, extracurricular activities, and more. In other words, E-Portfolios document and make visible student learning. But a good E-Portfolio should be more than just a collection of products, that's is why here will be included not only the activities and tasks but also deep reflections to reflect on the learning process and the challenges I faced during this course.

This E-portfolio includes evidence of the activities that were carried out throughout the Oral Expression and Comprehension course. Here, the most significant tasks of the course and deep analysis and reflection of each task to accurately describe my learning process will be included. This  is divided into three units:

  • Unit 1. Oral Comprehension
  • Unit 2. Oral Expression
The purpose of this course is for students to know, diagnose, apply and evaluate strategies for teaching and learning the skills of listening comprehension and oral expression to have inputs that allow them to argue the design, implementation, and evaluation of teaching and learning strategies for these skills, based on situations that generate collaborative work, autonomous learning and the use of ICT and LKT, and in order to promote the development of generic, professional and disciplinary competencies regard to teaching, learning and communication in the English language.
